SAUNA PURE EXPERIENCE, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CITY ON THE RHINE

Get out of the daily grind, off to the island.Sauna with regular infusions of natural essences, cooling off with a dip in the Rhine, resting in a yurt or outside by a fire bowl, hot and cold drinks in the bistro or a bit of chatting in the lounge yurt - all ingredients for an intense sauna experience. We attach great importance to a cultivated and considerate atmosphere. The sauna is textile-free, bathing in the Rhine is also possible naked, outside these areas wearing a bathrobe is compulsory. Offer:

  • a large relaxation yurt
  • one lounge yurt, one bistro yurt
  • large outdoor deck

PRICES

Admission entitles you to a 3h stay from 12 noon until closing time at 10pm. Payment possible in cash, card or with TWINT. There is no reduction on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, as well as from 26 December to 05 January.

LOCATION AND ARRIVAL

Sauna am Rhy, St. Alban Rheinweg 195, 4052 Basel
By tram no. 3 (from Aeschenplatz) to "Waldenburgerstrasse", walk to the Rhine and upstream (approx. 10min.).
By bus No. 80/81 (from Aeschenplatz) to "Breite", walk to the Rhine and downstream (approx. 10min.).
By car Coming from the motorway, take the "Breite" exit from both directions. There are parking spaces in the Breite Quartier in the blue zone.

HEALTH

Sauna use is not recommended for acute illnesses and for chronic complaints, especially problematic high blood pressure, cardiovascular and kidney diseases. Please consult your doctor. Visiting the sauna and bathing in the Rhine is at your own risk.
